1. Open the AI assistant

The AI assistant panel sits just below the main video player. It's available to you and to anyone you've shared the video with.

Click to open it. You'll see two questions and an action generated automatically from the video content, click any of them to get an instant response.

2. AI response

Click on any of the options to get a response from the AI.

REading throught the content of the video, the assistant will answer the question or generate the document you need, pulling timestamp link and frame from the video.

2. Ask anything about the video

The AI reads the video content and can answer specific questions. Viewers can use this to:

  • Get a list of action items

  • Clarify points mentioned in the video

  • Find answers without watching the full recording

Use the suggested questions or type your own.

3. Continue the conversation

After you ask a question, a sidebar opens on the left. From there you can:

  • Ask follow-up questions

  • Download documents generated by the assistant

  • Explore summaries, action items, or structured outputs

4. Jump to a moment in the video

Answers include links to exact timestamps. Click one to jump directly to that moment in the video without rewatching the full recording.

5. Use it as a creator or viewer

Creators can use the assistant right after recording to generate summaries, follow-ups, or next steps. Viewers can use it to understand the video faster, clarify what was said, and extract what's relevant to them.

6. Use your voice

You can also talk to the assistant using your voice instead of typing.

7. Manage AI assistant settings

The assistant is enabled by default on all videos. To turn it off for a specific video, go to Customize and open Video Settings. Toggle it off, and optionally save that as your new default for future videos.

The AI assistant helps turn any recording into something actionable, from understanding what was said to knowing what to do next.
