Supercut MCP now works in Claude Cowork, not just Claude Code. Connect it once and Claude can search your recordings and read transcripts, comments, reactions, frames, and stacks, directly inside Cowork.
New here? Start with our Model Context Protocol (MCP) article for the full overview of tokens and scopes.
1. Create your Supercut API token
You need a Supercut API token before you can connect. In Supercut, open your workspace settings and create a token.
We recommend a Personal API token so Cowork accesses the recordings you own, that are shared with you, or that you've watched.
Select the scopes you want, or select all for full access.
Copy the token and save it somewhere secure. You'll only see it once.
2. Add Supercut as a connector in Cowork
In Claude, open Settings and go to Connectors.
Choose to add a custom connector and enter the Supercut MCP server URL:
https://mcp.supercut.ai/mcp
Supercut uses a remote HTTP MCP, so this single URL is all Cowork needs.
3. Workspace and Tools settings
Choose the workspace you want to connect.
And select the tools you'd like to enable.
4. Test the connection
Open a chat in Cowork and ask Claude to use Supercut. For example:
Use the Supercut MCP to list my recent recordings and pull out any bug reports
If the connection works, Claude will retrieve your Supercut data through MCP.
That's it!
Claude in Cowork can now read your Supercuts directly. Ask it to pull transcripts, summarize recordings, surface comments, or extract action items from any video you have access to.
