Adding a term to your workspace vocabulary only affects transcripts generated after you add it. A video transcribed before the term existed keeps its old spelling — unless you re-transcribe it.
1. Add the term to your workspace vocabulary
Before you can apply a term to an existing video, it needs to be in your workspace vocabulary.
Click your workspace name in the top-right corner and select General
Open Vocabulary and click Terms
Add the word or phrase and click Save

2. Open the video's Language settings
⚠️ Before doing this
Re-transcribing replaces the current transcript. Any manual caption or chapter edits you made on this video are lost, the same way they are whenever you publish a new edited version. Make a note of them first if you need to redo them.
Open the video that has the misspelling.
Go to Video Settings, in the Customize category
In the Language section, open Transcription
3. Re-select the transcription language
Choose the same language again from the dropdown, even though it's already selected. This tells Supercut to re-transcribe the video from scratch, so it now picks up the vocabulary term.
Captions regenerate with the correct spelling
Chapters and summary regenerate too, since they're built from the transcript

Your video's captions, title, and summary now use the correct spelling, and future edited versions of this recording will keep using it too.
