1. Add a comment or reaction
You can interact with any video, whether it's one you've created or one that’s been shared with you. Comments and reactions are a great way to collaborate, give feedback, or keep track of important moments.
While watching the video, look for the comment icon and emoji icon at the bottom right of the video screen.
You can:
Click the comment icon to leave a note or start a conversation
Click the emoji icon to drop a quick reaction with emojis
Reactions and comments appear directly on the video timeline at the exact moment you added them.
⚠️ To comment or react, you need to be logged in to Supercut. Depending on the video permissions, you don't need to be part of the video's workspace. Any Supercut account works, including one without an active subscription.
We don't allow anonymous comments, which keeps threads free of spam.
2. Leave a comment
When you leave a comment, the comment tab on the right side of the screen will automatically open.
From here, you can:
Reply to comments
Add reactions to comments
Copy a direct link to any comment for easy sharing
Mention teammates in the workspace using
@
3. Add images to a comment
Sometimes a screenshot says it faster. You can attach images to any comment or reply.
Paste it straight into the comment box
Drag and drop it onto the comment box
Click the image icon to pick a file from your computer
You can add up to 4 images per comment, up to 10 MB each (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF). Images show as thumbnails on the comment. Click one to open it full size.
4. Catch up with the comment summary
Busy thread? Once a video has enough comments, an AI summary appears at the top of the comments panel, so you can catch up without reading every reply.
The summary covers the comments and any images attached to them
When new comments come in, click Refresh to update it
On very long threads, you'll still see the last summary, with a note that the thread is too long to summarize again
