Written by Supercut

1. Open the Editor

Go to any of your recorded videos and click Edit in the top-right corner. You'll be taken into the editor interface.

2. Add the redact

Click on the Timeline, and select the part you'd like to add the redaction.

Click on the Redact button.

3. Position and choose the redact

Adjust the box, and choose how to hide the information:

  • Blur

  • Pixelate

  • Black out

Click on Apply to save the redact.

4. Adjust the redaction in the timeline

Move or extend the redaction's length in the timeline to cover the exact moment you want hidden.

5. Publish your edits

Click Publish in the top-right corner when you're ready. Publishing creates a new version of your video. Your original recording stays untouched and you can switch back to it at any time.

That's it!

Redact lets you hide sensitive information without re-recording. Add it to any point in your video and publish a polished version in seconds.
