What is Auto-Edit?
Auto-Edit is the fastest and easiest way to make your ツSupercuts stand out, no timelines, no word-level editing, just smart, hands-off automation powered by AI.
It’s designed for creators who want to save time without sacrificing quality. Auto-Edit helps you turn any recording into a polished, ready-to-share video in minutes.
How to use Auto-Edit
1. Enable activity tracking
Before recording, make sure to enable activity tracking to help the AI deliver the best editing results. In the desktop app, click the Recording settings.
Turn on Track anonymous mouse and keyboard activity.
2. Open Auto-Edit
After recording, click the Edit icon at the top-right of your video and select Auto-Edit.
You’ll see a short introduction page with a 1-minute setup video, we recommend watching it to get the best results.
Note: Auto-Edit is currently available only for new videos longer than 30 seconds. Older videos cannot be edited with Auto-Edit yet.
3. Choose your editing style
You can pick how the AI should edit your video:
Light: Removes silences and obvious mistakes.
Balanced: Removes silences, small repetitions, and filler sentences.
Aggressive: Keeps only the core, most relevant parts of your message.
You can also enable Camera Focus if you want the camera view to be emphasized more during the edit.
Experiment with the options to find the editing style that works best for your needs.
4. Run Auto-Edit
Click on the Auto-Edit button and let the AI do the work. You’ll see a notification with the estimated processing time.
While your video is being processed, you can still adjust the theme or update other settings.
5. Review and manage versions
Once Auto-Edit finishes, a new version will appear in the Versions menu at the top of your video.
You can run Auto-Edit multiple times, each run starts from the original recording, so results may vary slightly.
If you want to redirect all your different versions to only a specific one, click the Redirect icon.
If you don’t select a redirect, each version will keep its own share link.
6. Other functionalities
All other features remain available. You can select a custom theme or change the main layout, and Auto-Edit will automatically adapt the layout to your video.
Auto-Edit works best on videos where you’re presenting or explaining something on screen. Try different editing styles to see which one fits your content and tone best.
