You can save time by setting up your own defaults in ツSupercut. Every new recording will be ready to go with your preferences already applied.

1. Go to My Settings

Open your workspace, in the bottom left corner of the window, click on your name, and select My Settings.

2. Choose Your Defaults

In the settings panel, you’ll find options to personalize your defaults

  • Primary workspace: Decide which workspace you’ll land in when you log in.

  • Layout: Pick a default recording layout. To set one, start a recording and click the button "Set current layout as default".

  • Language: Choose a default language for your recordings. You can also select Auto-detect if you record in multiple languages and prefer the AI to recognize it automatically.

  • Share permissions: Decide how new recordings are shared by default, anyone with the link, only members of your workspace, password-protected.

  • Playback speed: Set your preferred playback speed (e.g., 1x, 1.2x) for smoother viewing.

  • Chapter Bumpers: Set as default the short animated transitions with chapter title between chapters to make your recordings feel more polished and dynamic.

  • Captions: Automatically generate captions for your recordings or disable them by default if you prefer to keep videos without text overlays.

  • Comments and reactions: Enable or disable them by default on new recordings.

  • Thumbnail style: Choose how your video thumbnails look, split, segmented, angled, or plain.

All defaults can be updated at any time. You can also adjust settings for individual recordings whenever you need, as well changing the default.

With defaults in place, every ツSupercut is faster to share and ready to watch.
