If you'd rather not see your face on every shared link, you don't have to change the thumbnail one video at a time. Pick a thumbnail layout once, set it as your default, and every recording you share from then on uses it.
1. Open Social preview
Open the video you want to share, then click the drop-down menu on the Share button at the top right.

Your current thumbnail appears in the panel on the right
2. Open the thumbnail styles
The styles and layouts live behind the settings icon.
Click the settings icon ⚙️
Choose Change thumbnail
3. Choose a layout without your camera
Pick a style that shows your screen on its own, so your face isn't in the preview at all.

Or pick one of the avatar options if you'd rather show an image than your camera

4. Set it as your default
This is the step that saves you the repeat work.
Click the star icon ⭐️ at the bottom right of the thumbnail you picked
That style becomes your default
The next time you record and share, this thumbnail is used automatically

Changing your mind on a single video
Setting a default doesn't lock you in. On any individual video you can still open Change thumbnail and pick something else, and that choice applies to that video only.
If you do want your camera in the shot but not the frame Supercut picked, use Change face instead. Browse the frames with the slider, then click Capture to apply the one you like.
That's it!
Your shared links now use a screen only preview by default, so there's nothing to adjust each time you record.
You keep the option to change the thumbnail on a single video, and Change face is there for the times you do want your camera in the preview.
