Custom domain (redirect)

Supercut doesn't offer fully custom domains, but you can add a redirect so your shared links use your own branded domain.

Written by Supercut

This is a redirect, not a full custom domain. Your video still loads on Supercut, but visitors reach it through your own domain. It's a good fit if a video URL gets blocked or flagged in corporate email, or if you just want on-brand links.

1. Understand how the redirect works

When you set up a redirect domain:

  • Your visitors see your own domain (for example, videos.yourcompany.com) in the shared link.

  • That domain redirects to your Supercut share page.

  • Unlike a fully custom domain, the page still loads on Supercut's infrastructure.

2. Open your workspace settings

Go to your workspace settings, click on General and go to Custom domain section.

Don't see the Custom domain option? It can be enabled on request. Contact our support team and we'll turn it on for your workspace, at [email protected]

3. Add your domain

Enter the domain or subdomain you want your links to use. A subdomain such as videos.yourcompany.com is the easiest to set up.

4. Point your domain to Supercut

Add the DNS record shown in your settings at your domain provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, and so on).

  • DNS changes usually take a few minutes, but can take up to 24-48 hours to propagate globally.

  • Once the record is live, your redirect is ready to use.

Not sure how to add a DNS record? Send us your domain and we'll walk you through it.

5. Share your links

Share your Supercuts as usual. Your links now use your own domain and redirect viewers to your video.

That's it!

Your shared links now carry your own domain, so they look on-brand and are less likely to be blocked by strict email or network filters. Everything else about sharing, permissions, and analytics stays the same.
