1. Open the main settings
Click the Customize tab at the top-right of your video.
Open the drop down menu and then click on Video Settings, to access all available options.
2. Video settings
Here, you can set the default playback speed of your video, Captions and Chapter bumpers.
Playback speed is useful if you speak slowly and want your audience to watch at a slightly faster pace. For example, you can set it to 1.2x or 1.5x.
Your viewers can always manually adjust the speed if they prefer a different pace.
Enable captions if you want them to be automatically active when viewers open your video. Viewers can still turn captions on or off while watching.
Chapter bumpers refer to the short animation that appears between chapters, showing the chapter title in the top-left corner of your video. If you prefer not to display the title between chapters, you can turn this off.
All these settings can be set as default by clicking the star icon on the right side of each toggle or setting. If you don’t see the star, it means this is already your current default. Check out more about defaults in this article.
3. Audio settings
Optimizing your audio is one of the easiest ways to improve your videos. Supercut offers three options:
Unprocessed: Keeps your original audio. You can always revert to this at any time.
Balance Volume: Adjusts your audio levels to make quieter parts louder and louder parts softer.
Remove Noise: Includes volume balancing and removes background noise detected in your video.
4. Conversation settings
Control whether viewers can interact with your videos. By default, comments and reactions are enabled on all videos.
If you’re embedding a video on your website or simply you want to prevent commenting, you can disable comments and/or reactions in this section.
5. Language setting
ツSupercut automatically detects your video’s language. In this section, you can change the transcription language of your video. You can also set a default language by clicking the star next to your preferred option. ツSupercut will always use this language for future transcriptions.
You can update the language anytime by returning to this section, or in the Defaults panel.
6. Workspace setting
You can move a video to a different workspace at any time.
Click the current workspace, select the new workspace you want to move the video to, and confirm the action.
Your changes are saved automatically as you make them. Define your settings the first time and set them as your default, so your favorite configuration is always ready for your next videos.
