1. Download the Mac App
After signing up and setting up your workspace name, the next step is to download the Supercut macOS app.
Sign up to Supercut, add your name and workspace name, and next step, click the Download for macOS button.
Follow the usual download steps for your system.
Once downloaded, open the .dmg file and drag the Supercut app into your Applications folder.
Launch the app from your Applications folder or via Spotlight search.
Alternatively, you can click the Install link directly inside your workspace to start downloading. Then, follow the same steps to launch the app.
2. Launch the App
The first time you open Supercut, macOS will ask for permissions so the app can work smoothly:
Screen Recording
Microphone Access
Camera Access (optional)
Accessibility (for shortcuts and mouse tracking)

Granting these permissions is essential to ensure Supercut functions properly.
3. Check for Updates
After launching the app:
Click the Supercut icon in your Macâs top menu bar.
Select Check for Updates to make sure youâre running the latest version.
The app will also notify you automatically when new updates are available.
From this menu, you can quickly access the change log, support, and settings.
4. Change Setting
By clicking on Settings in the menu, you can adjust your recording preferences, shortcuts, and advanced options.

5. Multiple device login limit
You can use your Supercut account on up to two devices at the same time.
If you log in on a third device, Supercut will automatically sign you out from one of your previous sessions.
This helps keep your account secure and ensures smooth performance. If you notice frequent logouts, check that youâre not signed in on multiple browsers or computers.
