1. Open Settings

Open the Settings menu from the app's main panel.

2. Recording settings

In the Recording tab, you can configure:

  • Count-in time — the delay before recording starts (default: 3 seconds).

  • During recording — hide desktop icons while recording, and enable anonymous mouse and keyboard tracking (required for Auto-Edit). Learn more about Auto-Edit

  • After recording — auto-copy the video link to your clipboard, open it in the browser automatically, or manage notification permissions.

3. Shortcuts

In the Shortcuts tab, set keyboard shortcuts for recording, pausing, restarting, finishing, or cancelling. Click any field and press your preferred key combination to save.

4. Advanced

Under Advanced you can enable Beta updates to get early access to new features.

Under System:

  • Hide the app from your dock

  • Launch ツSupercut automatically at login

Under Permissions: manage screen, accessibility, microphone, and camera access. These are required for recording to work.

Click Reset defaults to restore all settings to their original state.
